Stefanie Flückiger-Mangual from Tolremo therapeutics wins POWHER Award 2026

We are delighted to share that our tenant Dr. Stefanie Flückiger-Mangual, Co-Founder and CEO of TOLREMO Therapeutics, has won the POWHER Award 2026 in the category “Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2026”. The award was presented on 17 April 2026 in Pratteln.

The POWHER Awards honour outstanding women entrepreneurs and advocates of female entrepreneurship who stand out through excellence, commitment and innovative strength, and who serve as visible role models in the Basel region.

Founded in 2017 based on Stefanie’s scientific work, TOLREMO Therapeutics develops innovative cancer therapies that target resistance mechanisms in order to improve the long-term effectiveness of treatments. In its official media release, POWHER highlights Stefanie’s role in leading the company into clinical development, securing substantial risk capital and successfully guiding the startup through the challenges of the biotech industry.

We are especially proud that Stefanie is already the second woman from a Tech Park Basel company to receive this award, following Marija Plodinec, CEO and Co-Founder of ARTIDIS. This is a strong reflection of the innovation, leadership and entrepreneurial excellence within our community.
